Matt Richling is the owner and team lead of New Purveyors, an Ottawa real-estate team with RE/MAX Hallmark. A director of the Ottawa Real Estate Board, he manages Inman’s Community Leader Program and serves on the Lone Wolf Technologies PropTech Advisory Board. His speaking focuses on leadership, consistency, and doing the hard work. He also writes the Lab’s Ottawa housing research and commentary.

Matt’s speaking focus is the work agents and leaders have to repeat: following through, having difficult conversations, and maintaining standards when motivation fades. His sessions are for brokerage leaders, team leads, and agents ready to turn intentions into daily practice.
Matt has led New Purveyors since 2018. His experience spans running a real-estate team, board governance, industry community building, and advising on property technology. He spoke at the Ultimate Team Leader Mastermind in Toronto on February 26–27, 2026, and appears on Inman’s 2025 New York speaker roster.

Matt has completed IRONMAN Canada and holds IRONMAN All World Athlete recognition for 2026. He also completed multiple 70.3-distance triathlons in 2025.
Endurance sport adds a personal dimension to his focus on consistency and doing difficult things, alongside his experience leading a team and serving the real-estate profession.
